Daily from Saturday, June 30th to Monday, September 3, 2007

Featuring close encounters with mammals and reptiles and free flying
Birds of Prey. Wildlife presentations are three times daily at 11:00,
1:00 and 2:30.

Located at the BC Wildlife Park can be found along the Trans Canada Highway, 15 minutes east of the Kamloops city centre.

From 7 – 8:30 pm each evening during the summer months, come to the Rotary Bandshell at Riverside Park for FREE musical entertainment by local, national and international musicians, weather permitting. Schedule subject to change without notice.

The concerts are free, presented by the City and the B.C. Lottery Corporation.

Being from Kelowna where there are lots of lakes (and no rivers) I often find myself wondering where we can go to cool off in the heat of the summer. Many families enjoy the rivers edge and the many beaches in and around town but personally I am way too chicken to take my kids to the river. That said there are a ton of pools and mountain lakes where we can go to enjoy some wet fun!
