A quiet morning indoors and a quick little play at the playground in McArthur Island park. I love the park but the playground leaves a lot to be desired - no swings and not a lot of climbing apparatus for the little fellows. Not to mention it is next to the skate park where the occasional teen can be found cursing up a storm.

After supper we headed out to check out something that truly makes summer in Kamloops special - Music in the Park. Every night, yup EVERY night in Riverfront park there is live music from 7-9 and it is 100% FREE. We packed some snacks and drinks loaded up the stroller and were off. I was pleasantly surprised to find parking IN the lot and lots of kids around enjoying the music. We have since visited 3 times and plan to go many more it is a wonderful way to spend a summer evening.
