I love fall. It is hands down my favorite season. And if you thought that summer was busy – whew! Look out! September is all about registration, shopping and making appointments.
Lots of you moms probably went through the mayhem of back to school shopping, getting school supplies and settled into new classes that first week is over and now it’s fees, field trips and fund raisers. On top of it all we have all the kids extra curricular activities. My daughter just started her third set of swimming lessons; she will put her head all the way under the water now! And in a week she starts her second year of dance. While I am trying to pencil in her schedule and organize her social calendar I can’t help but wonder how on earth I am going to do it when her brother has a calendar of his own.
Moms with three, four or more kids how do you fit it all in? Co-ordinating my life along with my daughter’s is trial enough, let alone my son’s or God forbid more children or a husband!!
But I do love fall. I love the food. What it means when those leaves start to turn and knowing that Halloween is just around the corner. Halloween is my favorite holiday by the way. I know it is not a real holiday but it should be and it makes me sad to think about the debate that goes on about Halloween these days but that is a whole other post!
