Join us on a Kamloops’ Christmas tradition as we journey back to a time of family gatherings, carolling, hot chocolate, festive lighting and other memories associated with a Christmas of old.
As the 2141-powered heritage train arrives at the station, the steam surrounding her illuminated by hundreds of brightly coloured lights, you are welcomed to board and travel with us to bring Santa Claus back to Kamloops. He will be joined by Mrs. Claus, the elves, a Winter Princess, and of course, Frosty the Snowman. There will be hot chocolate and candy canes for all and cookies for the kids hand-delivered by Mrs. Claus. Starting and finishing at the the old CN Station at Station Plaza, this 1 hour trip travels north out past St. Joseph’s historic church and also travels to Pioneer Park.These special trips sell out quickly so plan ahead and book for those friends and relatives, it is a great way to visit and start your holiday season. As a Family Season pass holder, 1 trip on Spirit of Christmas trip is included. The Spirit of Christmas runs December 14 @ 7:00 pm, December 15,16,21,22 @ 4:30 pm & 7:00 pm.
