It’s true. I don’t. I figure I make enough changes and resolutions to myself on a daily and monthly basis that setting out a list once a year just doesn’t seem feasible to me.

One thing I do resolve to do every January, however, is clear the clutter out of my small house. After Christmas has come and left all of its new exciting treasures seems, to me, to present the perfect opportunity to get rid of my crap!

We tackle one room at a time and have 3 sorting piles, if you will: GARBAGE - DONATE - KEEP
Room by room, space by space things get tossed here and there until I feel much better about owning as much crap as I do. The kids find toys they had forgotten about some they loved and still love and others they are only too happy to part with. I love getting them involved in the process as it helps fill those sometimes dreary and all too cold January days when it seems like there is little or nothing to do.
