A strong earthy, deep-rooted loving red to represent the parents, and a fresh, soft new-born green to represent the young children (the subtle sage green of Kamloops hills). The red leaves of the logo are the parents: a couple, a mother (pregnant as shown by the 'bump' on the leaf) and a single parent. The children are between them and together the entire Kamloops “family' is centred/grounded by one focal point—family living and unity. As a team they present an exuberant yet simple flower... which speaks to a harmonious life and what true beauty really is all about—our relationships with eachother. The logo also evokes a sense of movement... the action and activity of a family in motion, “doing' things together.

An intimate evening of Grand Illusion!

2 PERFORMANCES! – 5:30 pm & 8:30 pm @ Interior Savings Center

True to its title, “Grand Illusion” is the logical and incredible evolution of this conjurer’s art. Copperfield’s goal in “Grand Illusion” is to take one’s dreams (and maybe a few nightmares) and make them become reality using his state of the art wizardry.

Copperfield explains, “In ‘Grand Illusion,’ the audiences get to watch their dreams come true, live, before their very eyes and in three dimensions. It’s an interactive experience of wish fulfillment. Nothing like it has been done before. ‘Grand Illusion’ deals with real people who dream of being reunited with a loved one they thought they’d never see again and making it happen, instantly, in front of three or four thousand people who witness the event and see that it’s real.”

Tickets available for purchase here.
FLOOR SECTION $40.00 – $75.00
MAIN LEVEL $60.00
BALCONY LEVEL
$50.00

1st Annual Beattie Art Swap!

September 24, 2008 8:00 amtoOctober 3, 2008 3:00 pm

Do you have any art, dance or musical supplies that your family has grown out of or don’t use anymore? If you would like to sell them please participate in our art swap!

We will be accepting art related supplies, toys and books at both campuses from September 24th to October 3rd. Please clearly label the item with your name and the price you are asking. There will be a table at the school where all the items will be displayed. Parent volunteers will man the booth each morning and after school. Parents interested in purchasing items will need to bring cash and we will collect that money on your behalf and pass it on to you!

Please come and browse the table and help us recycle unused items and keep the art flowing!
