I have skinny kids.  My 5-year-old is tall and slender and often wears a belt or size four shorts as the waist fits better.  He has had to learn how to work with a belt to get to the washroom on his own, and it was a bit of a steep learning curve.  I was given a pair of LadyBugz  suspenders to try out and what a treat they have been.  Though he can’t always remember what they are called, “Mom, what are my green short-holders called, again?” he asks to wear them and looks dang cute, too.

I like that they are quick and easy for him to wear and that he doesn’t need to fuss with a buckle when he needs to change. Â They look super cute and are a throw-back to the good ‘ole days!
One of the neatest things was that my son saw one of our friends wearing his graduation attire and he was sporting a snazzy shirt with black suspenders! Â My son was impressed to say that he has suspenders, too!!
Shannon, of LadyBugz Slings ‘n Things, makes her own suspenders and has a number of styles that you can look through. Â If you would like to win a pair of suspenders that are the same as my son’s, there are a few ways that you can enter!
1) Check out the other review from LadyBugz and tell me who the winner was!
2) Take a look at LadyBugz website and let me know what other products Shannon makes.
3) You can also “like” Shannon’s page on facebook and let me know that you do.
4) Lastly, you can let me know who, in your family, would look good in these suspenders (You don’t have to leave their name, just age).
Good luck!
As always, you can enter by commenting or e-mailing your entries to elizabeth@kamloopsparents.com
The draw will be open until 10pm on July 8th. Â The winner will be posted on the site and notified by e-mail.

Hi, the winner from the other review was Miranda.
Shannon makes ring slings and mitten clips as well as the suspenders.
My 3 year old daughter would look good in some suspenders. I have a hard time finding pants that stay up for her, these would help a lot.

Hello,
Other products that Shannon makes are ring slings, mitten clips and the suspenders of course.
My daughter would love to wear these colorful suspenders. She is often between sizes and these would be great. She is newly potty trained and I do not want her to have to fuss with belts right now.
Thanks you,
Paula

Hi Elizabeth,
1. The other review from ladybugz was for a ring sling and the winner was #9 Miranda
2. Shannon makes ring slings, suspenders and mitten clips
I was looking at the mitten clips and I was reminded of another type of “pant-holder upper”, a stretchy cord attached to the back belt loops to cinch up the pants without interfering with the button on the front.
My kids are all very narrow in the waist, (my husband and I can’t quite figure out where they all get it from) and we are very grateful to the pants with the adjustable waists. My oldest boy (5) can still wear size 3 shorts even though he is very tall. That is the great thing about a long summer – the shorts last at least two years and I need to shop less often. The boys (3 & 5) would think that suspenders are really fun and wouldn’t interfere with the trips to the potty.
Thanks!
Erin

I love suspenders on kids!
1. The winner of the last draw was Miranda.
2. Shannon makes ring slings and mitten clips as well as the suspenders.
3. I “like” the FB page.
4. I think Keegan (3 1/2) would look great in suspenders, and that way he could wear pants his size and they wouldn’t fall down!
