Michael’s Arts and Crafts (Sahali, on Hillside Dr) offers lots of great crafting and creating projects and project ideas.  Have you seen the website?  There’s always something col that you can work on.  Also, they have great Saturday family events, many of which you can find out about here- at KamloopsParents.Com.

If your child is crafty and creative, you can plan their birthday party, with Michael’s!

On their site, you just need to pick a theme and a project with your child.  There are lots of ideas…. from bulletin boards, pennants, and cookie decorating to decorating t-shirts, storage boxes or aprons.  Give them at least ten days in advance, contact the store, and you can have help with your party and everything ready to go.  All you need to do is cover the $50 set-up fee and purchase the crafting supplies and you can have someone from Michael’s set up, lead the activity and clean up afterwards.  Food, drinks and decorations are up to you, as well.
