Today, I have made up a list of different fun summer crafts that I want to do with my kids. Â As I am in the middle of renovating our new home, our craft materials have been packed up and it hasn’t quite been on the radar so much as playing with hand-me-down Barbies and Ponies, playing in the new appliance boxes and running away from the resident wasps (ouch).
So, with the installation of the appliances, finished tile and carpeted bedrooms… craft-times are back on the radar!
Here’s a few projects that I want to do with my little crew…
I want to help the kids make a mosaic picture frame using scraps and tidbits of waste that we have around the house.
I want to have the kids make some toilet paper roll art. Â Because these look so cool that I know I could hang them in my dining room.
I want to test out some natural dyes for our homemade playdough.
I want to get some supplies out to have the kids make a wind sock for our back yard.
And tomorrow’s project is the best of all. Â We are going to make some comets for water-play! Â Anyone want to join in? (This may be next week’s craft if it turns out well.)
Happy Tuesday, KamloopsParents!
And don’t forget about the fantastic giveaways we have going on, right now!  Family Pass on the Kamloops Heritage Railway and Tini Fit Cloth Diaper

Great ideas Elizabeth! I never do crafty things with the kids, I’m sure they would love it! I’m going to give some of these a try! I know they would love the sponge comets! I think we’ll make some tomorrow during C’s naptime!
Thanks as always for all the great posts!

We made the comets and the boys LOVE them! I’m soaking wet and they are having a blast! Thanks for the awesome ideas! I happened to have some sponges on hand so it was super quick to whip theses up!
