Now, I will admit that I am not the best housekeeper in the world.  I tend to let messes get… well… messy. I’ve been known to just leave things until I really can’t stand it anymore before I clean it up.  As such, don’t look too closely at my kitchen floor.  I’m a corner-sweeper.  You know?  The kind of person that just sweeps the crumbs into the corner until the end of the day when I pick up the dust pan and get rid of it?  Well, I guess I used to be a corner sweeper.

When I first heard about Norwex I thought that it sounded like a great series of products.  The concept of reducing chemical use in my home and getting a fantastic clean?  Sounds like something I needed to know about!  I tried to get to a few parties but it never seemed to work out in my favour.  Finally, I made it to one and am I ever glad that I did!  When Char demonstrated the mop, I knew that this was something that I needed to know more about.  I was so impressed at the ease with which the floor cleaned up.  All she used was a squirt bottle to target the dirty spots, a couple sweeps over it with the wet antibac mop pad and voila! there was no more mess!  Stains were easily removed and the mop is great for any user (including my 2 year-old and 5 year-old) because the handle is telescopic!  When I had my own party, my son decided that he wanted to be the one to demonstrate how the mop was used!  Awesome.  Way to go, buddy!

My favourite part of the mop is the dry mop pad.  The static it creates picks up all kinds of crumbs and hairs off my floor; I love it.  I also use the rubber brush to sweep the crumbs into the garbage can.  It means that I need to do less corner-sweeping, as I can pick up so much more of the little bits from the floor into my mop.  The wet pad is also great because it is antibacterial!  I don’t need to worry so much about when I drop a piece of raw meat onto the floor because my wet pad will kill any yucky bacteria that might be there.

I know that the mop is one of my favourite Norwex products.  If you are interested in trying out the mop or getting it for free, you can contact Char (at char_m@telus.net or 250-319-3875) to book a party in your own home.  For July and August, the mop is the hostess special.  That means that when you host a qualifying show (which is sales of $325) you can get the mop kit (mop handle, base, dry pad, and wet pad) for free!

Char is also giving away an antibacterial body pack to one lucky reader.  The antibac body pack is a set of three fantastic face cloths.  They are also great for removing paint, felt and cookie dough off of children’s faces and arms (as well as cleaning up nose bleeds, cuts and wiping runny noses).  I like these cloths because they are so soft that my kids don’t flinch when I go to wipe their faces!!  I am slowly building up my collection of these, in my bathroom, because they really are the best!
