So, yeah.. the first time I made this recipe I added double the sugar and then lost count and I’m pretty sure I added more. Â Not so good.
The second (and third and fourth and fifth….) times I have made this recipe, you will be much relieved to know that I did not mess them up.
They… are AMAZING!
I’m a huge fan of Mint Chocolate anything (well, not really anything, but you know what I mean), but these are a sure-fire winner in my books. Â My kids love them. Â My husband loves them. Â Every guest I have served them to has loved them, too.
Here you go…
2 cups butter or margarine, softened
2 cups white sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp vanilla
1 tsp peppermint extract
4 cups flour
1 1/2 cups unsweetened cocoa powder
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 cups chocolate chips
1) Cream butter, sugar and eggs
2) Sift the dry ingredients.
3) Mix ‘em all together.
4) Ball and bake at 350 for 8 – 10 minutes.
