My garden was looking a little dull.  So the kids and I decided to create some rock garden creatures to add something new!

Here’s what you do….

Preheat oven to 350.

Wash the rocks to get all the excess dirt off.

Place the rocks onto a cookie sheet .

Put them in the oven for about 10-15 minutes.

While the rocks are heating up you can start peeling the crayons.

Once the rocks are nice and hot take them out of the oven (remind the children the rocks are very hot).

Start coloring on the rocks with the peeled crayons.

Presto….. beautiful rock garden creatures.
