Mighty Oak Midwifery

  • Big Pine BMX Races happen at the Bike Ranch. Run Bike races, included
  • Every Thursday the Kamloops BMX Club has races at McArthur Park.
  • Until October 29th, the Farmer’s Market is happening on Saturdays and Wednesdays.
  • Sun Peaks Farmer’s Market happens on Sundays until September 11th.
  • Until October 2nd, check out the Northills Mall Flea Market from 8am to Noon. Anyone can set up from 7 – 8am.
  • Saturday morning Story and Craft time at Chapter’s from 11am to 12pm
  • Kamloops Public Skating at local rinks. The schedule is subject to change, call 250-828-3387 for more information.

  • The Kamloops Art Gallery and Kamloops Arts Council have fabulous local artsists demonstrating their work at various galleries around town. Also, the Kamloops Art Gallery has free admission on Thursdays! The North Shore Art Walkcan be enjoyed through to September 6th

Never Miss A Meal

If you are trying to lose weight, cutting calories by skipping meals is not the best plan. There are so many negative effects to not eating a well balanced breakfast, lunch, dinner and snacks. Your metabolism slows down and then when you do not eat you wind up binge-ing because you are so hungry. Be sure to plan out your meals and snacks according to your busy schedule.
