Book: Guess How Much I Love You All Year Round
Author: Sam McBratney
Illustrator: Anita Jeram
For Ages: 3-5
Where to Get it: This book is available to purchase in store, at Chapters or online at Chapters and Amazon.

From the same author who wrote the wildly popular, Guess How Much I Love You, the story re-visits the Nutbrown Hare family – Little Nutbrown Hare and his Daddy – through four short stories that explore the four seasons! In the first story, Little Nutbrown Hare has lots of questions about little creatures in nature growing up.  By summer, he notices colors everywhere. My daughter loved pointing out everything on the page that corresponded to a particular color. Next comes autumn, of course, and the wind blows in a big cardboard box, perfect for Little Nutbrown Hare to play hide-and-seek with.   Finally, when winter arrives, Little Nutbrown Hare and his Daddy play “I Spy.”
When I asked my four year-old what her favorite part of this book was, she said “The I Spy” part. This is not surprising, since we played “I Spy” on a lot of our summer car trips this year! These stories are simple to read and easy to understand and you can’t help but love the relationship between Big Nutbrown Hare and Little Nutbrown Hare.
