The next AP meeting will be on WEDNESDAY, February 15th, starting at 10:30 AM.  Please bring a potluck item, with ingredient list, to share (not required for parents of children 6 mos or younger).  The meeting is open to dads, moms and kids.  There is not topic set for the meeting – but suggestions are welcome.

The February La Leche League meeting is schedule for THURSDAY, February 23rd.  The meeting will start at 10:30 AM.  Please bring a potluck food item to share if you can.  The meeting is open to past, current and to-be breastfeeding moms and their children.  There is set topic for the meeting, but questions relating to any aspect of breastfeeding are also welcome.

Also please remember that we now have a Facebook group.  If you facebook please join.  It is under the group name: Kamloops Attachment Parenting.  I am hoping this is a way that more parents can connect with each other about topics (whether suggesting good activities to go do with kids, resources available, kids items to trade / share, etc.  As well, I am hoping it can be a place of mentoring.  In this vein, Lorna Fletcher (La Leche League leader) has said yes to being one of our mentors.  Feel free to chat with her if you have questions.  Also if you know of someone with older kids (teen through adult) whom you think would be a good AP mentor please suggest they join.
