It happens…

We are exhausted.  The house has no groceries for dinner or we just don’t feel like cooking.  The kids are hungry.  We are hungry.

We want to eat healthy food right NOW but that doesn’t look like it can happen.

Oh, wait… it can!

Taco Del Mar to the rescue!

Our go-to we-have-no-patience-for-dinner-and-three-hungry-kids-and-a-tight-budget restaurant is Taco Del Mar.  It’s located up in the Winners complex on Columbia Street.  There, my family of five can eat for under $25.  We can make it under $20 if we luck out on a sale or a coupon night!

The meal is always ready right away and the staff are friendly, helpful and provide terrific service!  The best part is that the meal is healthy and we leave feeling satisfied and full, without that “oh yuck I just ate fast food and I feel sick” feeling.  $25 and my family is fed a healthy meal and full?  Score!!
