Hi, I’m Kelly!

Midnight finder of lost teddies, guacamole maker extraordinaire, wine weakling, coffee addict, chocolate snob and lover of life!  Did I mention Kamloops’ fabulously authentic family photographer?

Did you know that the fall is one of the absolute best times to get outside and photograph?  The colours are amazing, the air is crisp and clean, and the long hot days of summer are fading.  (Maybe not this September, but these past few days of October, I sure do feel fall coming on.)

If you want to photograph get some fantastic images of your own children, try getting them outside early in the morning, or after dinner.  The sun is softer, the light is warmer and the colours are beautiful.  Because the sun is lower, you’ll avoid “the squinties.”

Many times I chat with families, friends, acquaintances and I often hear “oh I don’t need anyone to take photos of my children, I can do it myself.”  Yep, that’s what I used to say too (well, OK, I do still say it), but I quickly realized something – I wasn’t in any the images I took.  This presented a problem for me, because I am a major part of my children’s lives.  And I have since decided to always have family photographs done at least once a year (and this is definitely my favourite time of year)!

I sometimes get flack for offering family sessions in the fall at reduced rates, but being photographed as a family is very important to me – I want every family to have that option.  And for a special Kamloops Parent’s reader, I am offering a complimentary outdoor family session.

All the details can be found here (sorry, the Ashcroft sessions are full).  The Kamloops Outdoor Sessions are October 20th.  So what do you have to do?

Comment below this post and then let me know via my Facebook Page that you’ve done that and want to be considered for the complimentary session.  Easy peasy!

Oh yes, this will be the last time I’m offering these family fall sessions in this type of format.  The deal is fantastic this year as my promise to you is “one for the wall” and with the images you receive on CD, you’ll also have the option to receive a wall portrait.  (My personal favourite!)  If you want to secure a session today, email me and let’s get to know each other!
