Last week my husband and I managed to escape for a few hours.  We wanted something sweet but not too filling.

We wanted to be able to talk and yet weren’t wanting to pay a bunch for the atmosphere of a fancy restaurant.

We just wanted to be together and eat dessert, really.

So, we headed for Tutti Frutti Frozen Yogurt.

Located near Save On, off Summit Drive, you can’t miss the brightly coloured sign of Tutti Frutti Fro Yo!  The delicious frozen yogurt flavours change regularly; mocha, raspberry, mango sorbet, salted caramel and more.  The serve-yourself fountain option is always a pleasure and the pick-your-own-toppings is terrific too!

We enjoyed our dessert and our time together, heading out feeling refreshed.

The great thing is that it is affordable for the kids to get a dessert, too.  Our three children (7, 5 and 3) love to pick out their toppings and taste for which type of froyo they would like to try – Bubble Gum!
