Have you ever wanted to get out on the trail with your kids but didn’t know where to go? Or maybe you wanted some company and encouragement? Hiking with a group can be one of the best distractions to minimize the “how much farther?” and the “I’m tired” comments.
This summer I am leading a series of hikes specifically oriented to hiking with kids. During the weekdays we will do smaller hikes 4km and under geared for children 5 and under with little legs and on the weekends and evenings I’ll lead us on slightly longer hikes 5km and over for those of us with school aged children.
If you’d like to join us then head on over to our Facebook group at Hiking with Kids in Kamloops https://www.facebook.com/groups/394394494034509 and click on the events page. We’ve also posted them on the events calendar here at KamloopsParents.
