X Fest 2015, featuring Project X Theatre, will be performing The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood and The Shakespeare Story until August 1, 2015.
The performance schedule can be found here, and we’ve gathered a list of what you need to know to make your experience more fun!
What ages are the shows suitable for?
The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood is suitable for kids 5 years old age and older, while The Shakespeare Story is suitable for audiences older than 13 years of age. My 4 year old and 6 year old enjoyed The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood, while I attended The Shakespeare Story on an adult “date”.
Project X Theatre is proud to have theatre that is accessible to everyone and will be performing another pay-what-you-can matinee for The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood at 3:00 pm on August 1st, 2015 at Prince Charles Park.
2 for 1 tickets!
The next 2 for 1 night at X Fest will be July 27th, 2015 featuring The Shakespeare Story.
Hint: Get your tickets EARLY as the previous shows have sold out!
Robin Hood and Shakespeare-themed cookies are available to purchase at the concession, as well as popcorn and candy.
Don’t forget to bring cash to get your raffle tickets! Only $5 a ticket, and a limited number of tickets available. Four fantastic prizes, including two tickets anywhere that West Jet flies!
Hint: If you purchase a raffle ticket at the show, you get to borrow a cushion to sit on during the performance!
Meet the Cast!
One thing that I love about Project X Theatre is the fact that after the performance, the children get to ask questions or get photographs with the cast. On this occasion, my daughter specifically asked for a photo with Robin Hood – and actor Mack Gordon was kind enough to spend time chatting with her.
