Project X Theatre will be returning to Prince Charles Park July 9-28 for another season of family-friendly outdoor theatre.  X Fest 2018 will feature two plays, including a female led adaptation of The Three Musketeers as well as a fast-paced adventure based on five Robert Munsch stories with The Three Munsch-keteers.

The Three Munsch-keteers follows the adventures of Athos, Porthos and Aramis as they bring to life Munsch favorites such as Moose!, We Share Everything!, Just One Goal!, Wait and See and Where is Gah-Ning?

Director Andrew G. Cooper describes the play “as a nice mix of the new Munsch stories, along with the ones that we grew up with. It’s a super fun show, the actors really bring so much to life.”

Adapted by Kamloops’ own Dušan Magdolen, The Three Musketeers tells the classic Alexandre Dumas tale with a twist.

Director Alyssa Bradac, in her first season with Project X Theatre,  says that her favorite part of the show is the fact that the three musketeers are women. “It brought up lots of discussion on what women faced historically and today. We worked hard to tell this story from a women’s perspective. In general, it’s a timely story and I am moved and surprised at how timely it is.”
