A strong earthy, deep-rooted loving red to represent the parents, and a fresh, soft new-born green to represent the young children (the subtle sage green of Kamloops hills). The red leaves of the logo are the parents: a couple, a mother (pregnant as shown by the 'bump' on the leaf) and a single parent. The children are between them and together the entire Kamloops “family' is centred/grounded by one focal point—family living and unity. As a team they present an exuberant yet simple flower... which speaks to a harmonious life and what true beauty really is all about—our relationships with eachother. The logo also evokes a sense of movement... the action and activity of a family in motion, “doing' things together.

Cristalee is a talented seamstress and Mom to two lovely little ladies.  She started getting creative with baby blankets about two years ago.  She designed and made some beautiful creations, word spread and now she is busy sewing beautiful creations whenever she can.  She offers a number of different gift sets of blankies.

Her work can be found in Lizzie Bits Baby Co on Lansdowne. Her work is a unique and precious baby gift, and a beautiful prop for photography.

Her Loved Blankie is really a fantastic memento.   My son’s receiving blankets were given to Cristalee and she designed an extra special blanket adding a satin backing and edges with ribbon embellishments for my son.  It has a special place on his bed and we often see it pulled around the house to tuck in his special babies.

These blankets are a great baby shower gift, as they are totally unique and can be made from your own receiving blankets.  It’s amazing to watch those everything-use cloths come to new life in a Loved Blankie.  For custom orders, Cristalee requires 2 – 3 weeks for completion.  Gift certificates are also currently available for the Loved Blankies.

Full sized Blankies are currently $59 going to $65
Travel sized Blankies are currently $20 going to $25
and Loved Blankies are currently $45 going to $55

If you are stopping by Lizzie Bits Baby Co, you can find her blankies there and, for the month of June, all in stock blankies will be %20 off to cellebrate 2 years. This is her only sale during the year.

If you are interested in contacting Cristalee, you can reach her at receivingcuddles@hotmail.com or through her facebook page.
