A strong earthy, deep-rooted loving red to represent the parents, and a fresh, soft new-born green to represent the young children (the subtle sage green of Kamloops hills). The red leaves of the logo are the parents: a couple, a mother (pregnant as shown by the 'bump' on the leaf) and a single parent. The children are between them and together the entire Kamloops “family' is centred/grounded by one focal point—family living and unity. As a team they present an exuberant yet simple flower... which speaks to a harmonious life and what true beauty really is all about—our relationships with eachother. The logo also evokes a sense of movement... the action and activity of a family in motion, “doing' things together.

Lucky #1!!

How often does that happen?!

We hosted an awesome giveaway from Ladybugz Slings N’ Things and we have a winner…

Kyla says “I am patiently awaiting the arrival of my first baby. I want to be a baby wearer! There are so many different sings and carriers out there – I’d love to support local and wear my baby in a Ladybugz sling :)

Kyla we are SO excited!!  to help you wear your baby.  Shannon’s and my experiences babywearing have been incredible; we are excited for you to embark on this journey, too!

I will be in touch!

My Ladybugz Ring Sling is absolutely amazing!

It is easy to use and very comfortable, for both myself and my 6 week old son! In fact, any time I have him in it, he is either having a nice cuddle or having a little snooze.

I use my sling all the time, around the house and out and about. In many of the situations where before I would have had him in his car seat or in his stroller, I now use the sling instead. When I have to make a trip to the store for a few items, I just plop my little guy into the sling instead of worrying about his car seat and a shopping cart, and he will usually just have a little cuddle and a nap. It is great for going on walks with my little man, and I am sure it is more comfortable for him than his stroller – bringing him back to his days in my womb I am sure!

I have my little guy in the sling when we are at church and he will be sleeping the entire time. The sling has a nice sized pocket that make these excursions easy because it holds my phone, wallet and an emergency diaper so I can leave the diaper bag in the car.

I honestly do not have a bad word to say about the Ring Sling! It is comfortable and convenient, but most important my son is comfortable in it.

And we both love the closeness of it; it is like having cuddle time at any time and anywhere!

Oh and not to mention the sling is quite trendy and stylish! I love it!

If you think that you would like to win one of these fantastic Ladybugz Ring Slings, we are thrilled that Shannon is donating a sling for a giveaway!

Just leave us a comment here letting us know why you think it would be great to have a sling. You can come back and enter your name every day until April 19th at 10pm.
