Do you need some relaxation and pampering, in a fun and funky shop downtown?

Get Polished from Head to Toe (formerly Get Polished Nails and Accessories) opened in Spring 2011.  Owner and operator, Erica Van Delft, has a passion for beauty and provides an exceptional level of service to her clients.  When she first opened her doors, her focus was on manicures, pedicures and accessory sales (including locally made products!)  In the past year, she’s expanded to a full-service salon, including Gel Nails, Gel Toes, Gelicure polish, Manicures and Pedicures, Eyebrow and Facial waxing, Feather and Tinsel Hair Extensions, Hair and Make-up, Mystic Spray Tanning, Teeth Whitening, and fun Accessories!!

Erica has been fully certified through Carmen Hayward, Nubar Certified Gel Educator at All Dolled Up Nail Salon and Professional Training (an Invermere, BC-based business.)  In order to provide all these services, Erica is happy to have support from her employees, Joelle – providing all nail and beauty treatments and Iris - providing full service hair stylist services.

I have been in the shop twice in the past couple of months, and absolutely loved the fun atmosphere (who doesn’t love zebra stripes, pink flowers, and some friendly conversation?)  I had the Gelicure polish done on my fingernails, and the Polished Diva pedicure.  Gelicure is a think color, clear or french overlay applied to your natural nails, without adding any length… and the best part is it lasts for a couple of weeks with no chipping.  My “mom” hands need that!  Next time, I’m getting nail art done (check out the shop’s facebook page for daily uploaded pictures of various nail art designs the gals have done!)
