Learn to Fish Edith Lake

Meet at the Day Use Area on the south end of the lake
Catch the fun! In this 2 hour session you’ll learn the basics of freshwater fishing including: hatchery roles, fish identification, regulations, proper fish handling, tackle, rod rigging, casting, and hands-on fishing.
- Rapala fishing rods provided
- For children ages 5-15 with accompanying adult
- Programs run rain or shine

Important! Please ensure you arrive on time, as the introductory information on fishing technique and ethics are important to your participation in the hands-on fishing portion of the program. We reserve the right to deny entry to those arriving after the program has started.
Jodi is originally from Montréal, Quebec but spent a few years in Northern New Brunswick after graduating from University. She moved to Kamloops in the Spring of 2010 with her family and works as an educational assistant. Her 7 and 8 year old keep her really busy as they love exploring the area and enjoying what Kamloops has to offer!
