Night at the Drum: Alive With the Fiddle

Honouring out Life Givers!
White Buffalo Aboriginal and Métis Health Society will be hosting its second annual fundraiser event “Honouring Our Life Givers” Night at the Drum: Alive with the Fiddle at 7:00 p.m.on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 8th, 2016, at Sagebrush Theatre.
Featured performances include those by Nathan Cunningham, Rene Therrien, Raynie Gervais, Cvetozar Vutev, Fara Palmer and the Sisterclan, Lii Michif Kamloops Dance Troupe, The Margit Sky Project, Shalni Prowse School of Highland Dance, B.C. Metis Federation Jiggers, Kamloops Old Time Fiddlers and Friends, and Good Heart Drum.
This year, funds raised at Alive with the Fiddle event will be used to expand and continue White Buffalo’s Reaching Out Project, a targeted outreach response to domestic violence in Kamloops and surrounding rural communities.
Jodi is originally from Montréal, Quebec but spent a few years in Northern New Brunswick after graduating from University. She moved to Kamloops in the Spring of 2010 with her family and works as an educational assistant. Her 7 and 8 year old keep her really busy as they love exploring the area and enjoying what Kamloops has to offer!
