Rich Harmonies and Ground-breaking Spontaneity

Our final concert of the 2017/18 season is taking place this Saturday, May 5 at 7:30 pm in Sagebrush Theatre. Russian Innovators presents the strong lyricism, rich harmonies, and striking individuality of Shostakovich and Borodin, two of Russia’s most inventive composers, plus the ground-breaking spontaneity and masterful French-style orchestration of Canada’s Pierre Mercure.

A musical tour through several Nordic countries Ventos Wind Quintet

Our Berwick Chamber Music series concludes for the 2017-18 season with Northern Lights, featuring the Ventos Wind Quintet, on Saturday, March 24 at 7:30 pm in the Thompson Rivers University Clocktower Theatre.

Ventos (which means “Wind” in Portuguese) is based in the Vancouver area but endeavours to bring quality chamber music to all parts of British Columbia and beyond. Kamloops Symphony Presents: O Canada

Guest Artist: Mark D’Angelo, Trumpet

The trumpet shall sound! This programme highlights the brilliant sound of the trumpet and our principal trumpeter, Mark D’Angelo. The programme includes two newly commissioned works by Canadian composers. Join us in celebrating Canada’s 150th birthday.

Jodi is originally from Montréal, Quebec but spent a few years in Northern New Brunswick after graduating from University. She moved to Kamloops in the Spring of 2010 with her family and works as an educational assistant. Her 7 and 8 year old keep her really busy as they love exploring the area and enjoying what Kamloops has to offer!
