The Kamloops Symphony’s next concert is the Sun Rivers Trio performing as part of our Chamber Music Series. The concert features Mozart’s Trio in E-flat Major, also known as the Kegelstatt Trio, one of the earliest chamber works to include the relatively newly invented clarinet. Hits of the Eagles performed by Kamloops Symphony and Jeans ‘n Classics

The hits of the Eagles will be performed at Sagebrush Theatre this Michael Shotton 2April when Kamloops Symphony teams up with Jeans ‘n Classics.

Lead vocalist Michael Shotton, along with Jeans ‘n Classics band, backup vocalists, and Kamloops Symphony will perform songs like Take it Easy, The Boys of Summer, Witchy Woman, Hotel California and many more.

This performance will be part of Kamloops Symphony’s Kelson Group Pops series. Cascadia Reed Quintet will perform for the next Kamloops Cascadia Reed QuintetSymphony New Gold Chamber Music series on January 23 at 7:30 p.m. at the TRU Alumni Theatre.

The quintet is made up of Marea Chernoff, Christopher Lee, Colin MacDonald, Olivia Martin, and AK Coope. These are five of the top woodwind players in British Columbia.

Joyful, Light-hearted Music to Start the New Year with Kamloops Symphony

Kamloops Symphony returns to Sagebrush Theatre to celebrate the New Year with their programme The Magic of Vienna.

The Magic of Vienna was designed after the famous New Year’s Annette and Borisconcert by the Wiener Philharmoniker. The first New Year’s performance there was on December 31, 1939. It has become an annual tradition, now televised in over 90 countries around the world.

Kamloops Symphony’s concert is programmed in much the same way, bringing the music from Vienna live to Sagebrush Theatre with famous and recognizable music written by some of Vienna’s greatest composers: Offenbach, Weber, Mozart, Lanner, and Strauss Junior.
