The Birds and The Bees is a sassy, sexy, modern comedy about beekeeping, turkey farming, and romance. By one of Canada’s funniest and hottest young playwrights, Mark Crawford, it is guaranteed to make you laugh out loud at its hilarious observations on family, being an adult, and finding true love at any age.

Co-produced with Thousands Islands Playhouse, Gananoque, The Birds and the Bees was a great hit with critics and audiences alike when it played there in October. Hits of the Eagles performed by Kamloops Symphony and Jeans ‘n Classics

The hits of the Eagles will be performed at Sagebrush Theatre this Michael Shotton 2April when Kamloops Symphony teams up with Jeans ‘n Classics.

Lead vocalist Michael Shotton, along with Jeans ‘n Classics band, backup vocalists, and Kamloops Symphony will perform songs like Take it Easy, The Boys of Summer, Witchy Woman, Hotel California and many more.

This performance will be part of Kamloops Symphony’s Kelson Group Pops series. Kamloops Symphony Presents: Brazen

Kamloops Symphony’s next Classic Series
performance is on Saturday, April 11 at Sagebrush Theatre.

The programme is appropriately named Brazen after Jeffrey Ryan’s Brazen Concerto for Saxophone. Ryan, a Vancouver-based composer, was commissioned to write the piece by Kamloops Symphony’s guest soloist Julia Nolan.

Jodi is originally from Montréal, Quebec but spent a few years in Northern New Brunswick after graduating from University. She moved to Kamloops in the Spring of 2010 with her family and works as an educational assistant. Her 7 and 8 year old keep her really busy as they love exploring the area and enjoying what Kamloops has to offer!
