The Kamloops Marathon course is a certified course allowing it to be used as a qualifier for the Boston Marathon. The Kamloops Marathon scenic course includes some spectacular views of theThompson Rivers while running along the Rivers Pathway trails of Kamloops. Starting at Mac Island Park is like running through a mini Stanley Park. The route also includes the legendary Riverside Park which is very beautiful part of Kamloops.

Who are we fundraising for?

Proceeds from the Kamloops Marathon will support TRU WolfPack athletes.  In addition to assisting student athletes to travel to races, funds raised will create bursaries to help these students offset the cost of tuition and books. Bursaries ensure TRU is accessible to all qualified students that want to pursue their passions. Your participation in the Kamloops Marathon keeps the door to higher education open by ensuring financial resources are available to student athletes in need. You are helping students complete their education and realize their dreams. Thank you for being part of the 3rd Annual Kamloops Marathon.

Western Canada Theatre Presents: 2 Pianos 4 Hands

Two aspiring pianists share a dream of concert superstardom. Along the 15-year journey, the actors/pianists portray a dazzling range of characters. With brilliant music from Bach and Beethoven to Billy Joel and Jerry Lee Lewis, this wildly popular show hits all the right notes, tickling the ivories and your funny bone.

Funny, clever, insightful and touching, full of music, humour, story and character.”

– Globe and Mail

This is one of the funniest, most endearing, most virtuosic Canadian plays ever written. It has been touring the world for the past 20 years, and we finally got the chance to bring it to Kamloops. As the father of a 5 year old who is, shall we say, ‘reluctant’ to go to his piano lessons every week, this show speaks to me. And I know it will speak to anyone who has ever taken a piano lesson, or a lesson of any kind, be it music, sports or arts. We will all see ourselves in these characters and their attempt to be the best at what they do. Even if they don’t feel like practicing… – DARYL

All submitted works are displayed for the duration of the exhibit; every nook and cranny of the Old Courthouse will be filled with art. A VIP Preview allows special invitees, including sponsors and dignitaries, to view the artwork prior to opening night. At a well-attended opening night reception, a team of three respected arts jurors awards prizes and honourable mentions. The next day, artists receive feedback on their work from the jurors.
