It’s that time of year again, your little one is quickly growing up and what a better way to celebrate this milestone than with a fun birthday party! Whether you want it a small party or a large party, it is up to you but here are a few ways to save on money.
Invites: You have several options when it comes to inviting guests to your child’s birthday party. The cheapest and easiest way is to send an Evite. You have tons of options and you are able to edit the content as much as you want. The only disadvantage to this, only the parents of the children will see the invite. Another option is to create your own. You have full creative input and they can be a fun project for you and your little one!
Food: No need to cater this event, instead think about buying in bulk and cook on your own. Birthday favorites are pizza, hot dogs, sandwiches or hamburgers. A fun pizza idea is getting the supplies for the kids to make their own personal pizzas; the perfect fun and yummy activity. If you have a summer birthday, put that grill to use. For sides grab a few bags of chips and slice up some apples and you are set to go! As far as the birthday desert goes, skip the store bought cake and make cupcakes!
