Tips for Travelling with Kids to Warm Tropical Destinations

Today, a guest writer shares her tips on how to travel (with kids!) to warm tropical destinations (successfully!). A must-read for any parent about to venture down south with young ones.

Take one carry on suitcase just for your child— I fill this suitcase up with whatever my daughter needs to occupy her during the flight. (Sketchbook and crayons, Books, DS Game, Portable DVD Player, or Card Games) I also always roll a small blanket and travel pillow up and attach them to the suitcase with a Velcro strap,  that way my daughter has quick access to them.

As an adult, has your relationship with sport changed at all? We are meant to move. Physical inactivity is increasingly being recognized as a risk factor on par with smoking or obesity in severity. To raise children who are more likely to be active throughout their lives, we need to get them involved in physical activities as early as possible and make it an enjoyable part of their lives.
