Oh…yes…we hit a whine-fest lately!

And my response totally depends on my mood!

Sometimes I simply say, “I don’t speak whine, I have no idea what you are saying or asking for” And I ignore the whining until she finds her words or gets distracted and moves on to something else.

Review of Teddy Bear Picnic and Parent Child Mother Goose® Celebration

On Thursday, June 20th, over 300 people attended the Teddy Bear Picnic and Parent Child Mother Goose® Celebration at Prince Charles Park. Organized by Kamloops Early Language and Literacy Initiative, the CCRR, TNRD Library with guests from Enchanted Tea Cup, Drummer Dave and guitarist Vicki McKee, this annual event included lots of activities for young children, starting with a little bit of bubble blowing!

Once the excitement over bubbles had abated (but luckily no spillage, for once!) it was off to the next activity.  Tables

Get Canadian Run – July 1st, 2013!

This July 1st, celebrate Canada Day in Kamloops with the FIRST annual Canada Day Run at the beautiful McArthur Island Park. This brand-new running event is focused on families, friends and kids! With a 2km, 5km and 10km distance, everyone is encouraged to come out and participate! All families are encouraged to start their Canada Day celebrations with this fantastic morning run among friends, before continuing the festivities at Art in the Park (Riverside Park) and finally fireworks to complete the day.

This family-friendly race will consist of a fun, flat route and Canada Day themed water stations will be located
