Beaded Name Tags

Do you have an organization with a lot of new kids or have kids at home just learning to spell?

Why not try this fun and creative way of spelling their name that they can then wear with pride. This is my first year as a Sparks leader for my daughter’s unit and we had the girls make these adorable name tags so as a group we can all learn each other’s names. They had such a great time finding the letters to their name and picking out what color and pattern of beads they were going to use. We then strung them onto a piece of pipe cleaner. We made our shape into the shape of a clothes hanger and now each week the girls pin them on. They have such pride in wearing the name tag they made, learning each other’s names and wearing something special with their name instead of just a piece of paper.
