Kamloops Symphony Presents: Angel’s-Transcending Time

Kamloops Symphony’s second Chamber Music Series performance 1551567_871547039543497_593341021535800837_nis coming up on Saturday, November 29, 2014 at the TRU Alumni Theatre. Kamloops Symphony Orchestra (KSO) Chamber Musicians Sally Arai, Naomi Cloutier, Cvetozar Vutev and Martin Kratky make up this unusual quartet.

Angels will hover over this music during these three works. The first, Walter Rabl’s Quartet for clarinet, violin, cello and piano, is one of only two chamber works Rabl composed. Listeners will hear the Brahms influence during the piece that was composed in 1896.

Just Kidding: Curled up With a Good Book

My eldest just entered the school system this year, and I thought it would be appropriate to teach him the fine line that exists between teasing and taunting. I wanted him to understand that crossing that line could result in hurtful feelings. I also wanted to let him know how he should respond if he ever found himself the target of emotional bullying someday.

We borrowed the book “Just Kidding” from the library and it turned out to be a fantastic resource on that very topic.
