  1. I visit Kamloops in weekends occasionally, can you please tell me if you have any suggestions for weekend activities? My baby is 10.5 months old.

  2. Hello, Jill!

All of the programs geared for that age group (whether they re drop-in or require advance registration) seem to happen during the week. If you are looking for something to do on the weekends, Lil’ Monkey’s Treehouse and Sweet Home Cafe are both open on Saturdays. River City Gymnastics has Family Gym Saturdays when your child is a little older (I think they need to be 15 or 18 months old?) Also, both libraries have an area set aside specifically for children (with puzzles, puppets and colouring). Strolling through the Saturday Farmer’s Market or visiting one of the many spray parks in town would be a great idea now when the weather is nice!

  3. New to Kamloops.
I have a 1 year old daughter as well as a 3 year old Autistic son. I’m wondering if there are any groups that I should lean towards?

  4. Sorry I missed this, Elaine – you can contact either of the Strong Start programs by calling the numbers listed above. Thank you!
